Registration
Parents of students in the Copiah County School District use ActiveParent to complete student registrations online.
All students are required to submit 3 proofs of residency at registration every year.
- Group 1- Deed, Homestead, Lease
- Group 2- Utility (lights, water, gas)
- Group 3 - Additional utility, Driver’s License, Voter Registration Card, Affadavit
NOTE: Service address for bill must be within the Copiah County School District with a physical address, NOT a PO Box. Cell phone, satellite TV, or medical bills will not be accepted for proofs of residency.
To complete an affidavit of residency, contact the school for an appointment to complete on site.

Click the "Forgot Password" link on the ActiveParent login page. You will be asked to enter your username, and then you will receive an email with instructions for resetting your password. The email will be sent to the email address used to create the ActiveParent account. If you do not have access to that email, contact your child's school.
Click on Student Registration and then, from the dropdown menu, choose the name of the first student you would like to register, select the registration type, and click begin registration.
You can move through the pages of the registration site by using the tabs at the bottom of each page or by using the tabs at the top of the screen.
Check the Student Demographic information for accuracy. If there is information that needs to be edited in student demographics, please contact the school office. Returning student demographic information cannot be edited during registration.
Under the Address, Phone, and Email tab, please read the Instructions at the top of the page. Per board policy, all students must submit three new proofs of residency each year.
If the physical and mailing addresses are the same, please select Residency and Mailing for address type.
Click the blue Add Address button to save.
All students are required to have three proofs of residency.
When uploading documents such as proofs of residency, please enter a description in the File Description text box. Not doing so will result in an error from the system.
Proofs of Residency:
- One proof from each category below is required.
- Group 1-Deed, Homestead, Lease

When registering multiple students, clicking Import Student Information will allow you to import addresses that have already been added for another student account.
Click the blue Save button at the bottom or top of the screen when finished adding/editing information.
Please select a primary guardian. This primary guardian should be the legal guardian that is responsible for completing registration and that will be contacted first during an emergency.
Click the Save button before leaving the page.
Contacts cannot be deleted during registration. Please contact your child's school to make changes to those contacts who are able to check out a student.
