Copiah County School District Chosen as Microsoft Showcase District by MDE
Because of the efforts of its administration and staff in the development and implementation of a distance learning system, Copiah County Schools has been selected as a Microsoft Showcase District by the Mississippi Department of Education. As a result, the schools will receive additional support by vendors in implementing the 1:1 rollout of devices for the three-year Mississippi Connects project. Mississippi Connects is a program that seeks to provide every public-school student in Mississippi with the technology to learn at school and at home. Other districts selected as showcase districts include:
Microsoft Districts: Desoto, Harrison, Columbus, Copiah, Marion
Google Districts: Vicksburg-Warren, Lamar County, Rankin, Ocean Springs, Clarksdale Municipal
Apple Districts: Clinton, Corinth, Madison, New Albany, Oxford
