Journeys STEM Field Trip

Journey students of Crystal Springs Elementary and Middle Schools and Wesson Attendance Center had an on-site field trip recently.  Central Creativity from Laurel, MS came to Crystal Springs Middle School to do STEM activities with the Journey students.  The students made bath bombs, slime, and fluorescent flashlights.  The students also coded with robots and visited NASA using virtual reality headsets. They were also given a kit to make a volcano at home.  Thank you to our Journey teachers for giving these students the opportunity to see how fun STEM can be.

Paper 24/7 Tutoring

We have some incredible news to share! We are thrilled to announce that we are launching our partnership with Paper to provide ALL 3rd-12th Grade students with free, 1-on-1, tutoring and writing support thanks to the Mississippi Department of Education.

When students log in and start a session, they are instantly connected with subject-matter experts that guide your students through problems step-by-step, without giving away the answers. This way, students can walk away from sessions feeling confident that they understand the material and have the tools to succeed on their future assignments and exams.

Here are a few ways Paper can support you and your students this school year:

Unlimited 24/7/365 tutoring support — sessions can run for as long as students need!

Homework help, test prep, and study support

Revisions for typed writing assignments – essays, short paragraphs, book reports, science lab reports, college personal statements, and more in 24 hours or less!

Tutoring and writing support in 4 different languages — English, Spanish, French and Mandarin.

To learn more about Paper visit The parent & guardian’s guide linked below to begin implementing Paper at home. Here you will be able to register for an upcoming parent & guardian info session, available in both English and Spanish, and find resources on how to get started with using Paper with your students right away!
